Our Legacy

As a socially responsible member of the community, Hermanus Beach Club has a recycling programme in place. All funds raised from this programme are distributed through various needs identified within the community. Part of our recycling programme includes the collection of used towels, bedding, clothes, toys and household goods, which are then distributed through local organisations, the Hou Moed Centre, Hermanus Social Services and our local child welfare department. All three of these organisations deal with different areas within our community and the surrounding rural areas. Towels and bedding, used though still in good condition, are also distributed to our two local old-age homes, Huis Lettie Theron and Lombardi House.
